The TN CFAR is hosting this CFAR-wide seminar, featuring Kassem Bourgi, MD, assistant professor of clinical medicine in the Division of Infectious Diseases at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. He will be presenting on ART-Associated Weight Gain: Perspectives from Regional, National, and Global HIV Cohorts.

ABOUT THE SPEAKER:
Dr. Kassem Bourgi is the Medical Director of the Nashville CARES and CARES360 Community Clinic. With over a decade of HIV clinical experience, he brings a patient-centered approach to healthcare, research, and medical education, with a strong focus on serving diverse communities. Dr. Bourgi has led innovative research exploring the metabolic and cardiovascular complications of HIV and long-term antiretroviral therapy. He has served as the site Principal Investigator for numerous industry-sponsored HIV treatment and prevention clinical trials. Dr. Bourgi remains deeply committed to advancing HIV care, medical education, and public health.
