Midwest D-CFAR Grants
The Midwest D-CFAR offers pilot grant opportunities through its Developmental Core. Researchers who are D-CFAR investigators affiliated with Washington University, Saint Louis University, or Harris-Stowe State University are eligible to receive funds.
The following funding opportunities are available:
Investigators who are new to HIV can apply for funds to support data collection or writing their first HIV-focused research grant.
These awards go to investigator pairs, with one person from an academic institution and the other from a community-based organization or public health agency.
The 2025-2026 pilot funding cycle is OPEN and we are currently accepting proposals!

This funding opportunity is designed to supplement HIV-related pilot grant applications that are being submitted to other WashU or SLU centers/institutes.
The D-CFAR Just in Time (JIT) Enhancement Funds provide supplemental grant support to researchers who have received JIT core usage funding from the ICTS.
