JIT Enhancement Funds

Midwest D-CFAR Just in Time (JIT) Enhancement Funds provide supplemental grant support to researchers who have received ICTS JIT core usage funding. This is a joint program between the Midwest D-CFAR and the Institute of Clinical and Translational Sciences (ICTS).

These awards are designed to provide quick access to funds for core use, for projects that are consistent with the goals of the Midwest D-CFAR. A successful ICTS/Midwest D-CFAR JIT application is designed to study HIV infection, viral reservoirs, and HIV-specific T cell and antibody responses using more sophisticated analysis, including geospatial science, high-throughput screening, imaging, next generation sequencing, immunophenotyping, and histopathology using ICTS-affiliated cores. This program is intended for projects where anticipated core user fees are in excess of $5,000. (For projects with an estimated cost of $5,000 or less, eligible investigators can apply to the ICTS JIT core usage funding program).

Contact the D-CFAR Developmental Core if you have questions about this funding stream.
