The City of St. Louis Department of Health is hosting its fourth annual PrEP Week October 19-25, 2025.
This week is a citywide call to action for all St. Louisans to learn about and access HIV PrEP (pre-exposure prophylaxis). This highly effective medication reduces the risk of HIV transmission through sex by up to 99% when taken as prescribed. PrEP remains a cornerstone of efforts to end the HIV epidemic in Missouri.
In collaboration with partners, PrEP Week 2025 will feature various community-centered events designed to educate, celebrate, and engage. There's something for everyone!
