Special workshop: Crafting and delivering compelling messages

As a scientist, you are highly knowledgeable in your area of expertise, and writing a scholarly paper or presenting your latest findings is usually easy. But explaining what you do outside of your professional circle may be difficult, especially if you have limited time. In this virtual workshop, you will learn and practice distilling your message to the essentials and delivering it effectively in various scenarios.

Speakers: Mychal Voorhees and Monica Sala-Rabanal, PhD from the Center for Health and Science Communication at WashU’s Becker Medical Library

This training will be held on Zoom. It is meant for ESIs but open to all. If you would like an invitation and link, please email our Development Core (dev@midwestdcfar.org).
